Fortnite Season 7 is LIVE and it’s one of the biggest updates yet. With a map covered in snow, planes in the sky, brand new locations, and even a Minecraft style Creative Mode, there’s more than enough to dig into. In case you haven’t checked everything out yet, here are 5 fun things to do in Fortnite Season 7.
Fly A Plane in Fortnite Season 7
Remember when Fortnite used to be vehicle-free? Now it has more than PUBG! The latest addition to the game is the X-4 Stormwing Plane.
Not only can you hop in one of these and fly, but you can also barrel roll, shoot people, parachute or even just sit on the wing and shoot people. Be careful though- other people can shoot you down too.
Check out where to find and how to fly a plane in Fortnite– it’s one of the best things to do in Fortnite Season 7.
Explore The Snowy Fortnite Season 7 Map
The Fortnite Season 7 world map has had a major overhaul. The bottom-left corner is now covered in snow. Locations like Shifty Shafts and Tilted Towers now have a winter makeover- but there are also some new spots to explore.
Happy Hamlet is a quaint little winter village full of Christmas displays. Frosty Flights is the go-to area for hijacking a plane. There’s also Polar Peak and a bunch of smaller areas in the snow, so make sure to traverse the winter map while you can.
Go Ice Skating in Fortnite Season 7
The winter map also has some other perks. A lot of the ground is covered in ice. Walk over one of these spots and you can go ice skating!
The best spot to do this is just north of Polar Peak where there’s a de-facto ice rink, along with a good bit of loot.
Move on the ice and crouch to go faster. You can even skate around your enemies if you’re feeling cheeky.
Create New Maps in Fortnite Season 7
Fortnite Season 7 also introduces Creative Mode. This allows you to create your very own Fortnite maps. It’s a little like other map creator games- you can make your own island and even play on it.
Creative Mode is currently only available to those with the Season 7 Battle Pass. However, it’ll be available to every user starting on the 13th of December.
Users have already been sharing their creations in r/FortniteCreative. VariousPurple even re-created the entire Dust II map from CS: GO!
I built Dust II from CS:GO alone in creative mode and it only took me 7 hours from FortniteCreative
