The Fortnite Season 7 world map has had a major overhaul. The bottom-left corner is now covered in snow. Locations like Shifty Shafts and Tilted Towers now have a winter makeover- but there are also some new spots to explore.

Fortnite Happy Hamlet Christmas Lights

Happy Hamlet is a quaint little winter village full of Christmas displays. Frosty Flights is the go-to area for hijacking a plane. There’s also Polar Peak and a bunch of smaller areas in the snow, so make sure to traverse the winter map while you can.

Go Ice Skating in Fortnite Season 7

The winter map also has some other perks. A lot of the ground is covered in ice. Walk over one of these spots and you can go ice skating!

Move on the ice and crouch to go faster. You can even skate around your enemies if you’re feeling cheeky.

Create New Maps in Fortnite Season 7

Fortnite Season 7 also introduces Creative Mode. This allows you to create your very own Fortnite maps. It’s a little like other map creator games- you can make your own island and even play on it.

Creative Mode is currently only available to those with the Season 7 Battle Pass. However, it’ll be available to every user starting on the 13th of December.

Users have already been sharing their creations in r/FortniteCreative. VariousPurple even re-created the entire Dust II map from CS: GO!
