The full list of IEM Katowice 2019 teams is now confirmed and we know all 24 teams competing at the CS:GO Major. And while we all know the top teams, such as Astralis, Team Liquid, and NaVi, there are many underrated CS:GO teams you might want to pay close attention to. Here are 5 CS:GO Major Teams to look out for at IEM Katowice 2019.
5 CS:GO Major Teams To Look Out For At Katowice
1. Team Vitality
The Vitality CS:GO roster has hit many strides since forming back in October 2018. The team brings together past major winners NBK and apEX along with RpK and upcoming talents Zywoo and ALEX.
They beat North to come 2nd in the IEM Katowice Europe Minor, won the recent WePlay! Lock and Load tournament and even won DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018. They’re now the best French CS:GO team and could make a deep run in the CS:GO Major.

2. ENCE
Much like Vitality, ENCE is one of the top upcoming CS:GO teams in 2019. They won multiple big events in 2018, including DreamHack Open Winter 2018 and Assembly GameXpo 2018. They were also the winners of the IEM Katowice 2019 Europe Minor and even picked up a win at ASUS ROG Winter 2019.
With the experience of allu, a rising talent in sergej, and the leadership of Aleksib, ENCE has gone from strength to strength. They’re another team that could perform beyond their potential in the IEM Katowice Major.
3. BIG
BIG (less commonly known as Berlin International Gaming) are already in the Legends stage of IEM Katowice due to their Top 8 placement at the FACEIT London Major. However, the new addition of XANTARES to BIG could pay off bigtime for the German team.
With gob b’s tactical guidance and the firepower of tabseN, tizian, nex, and now one of the world’s best players in XANTARES, BIG are always exciting to watch. Expect one or two upsets at the major from this team.
Not the result the @BIGCLANgg boys wanted yesterday, but what a fantastic 2v5 this was from @tizianCS and @XANTAREScsgo! 🔥 pic.twitter.com/vGsQW84ufk

4. TYLOO
Although TYLOO struggles to top international events, they’re always fun to watch. Their lightning fast aiming and unpredictable play style leads to grand upsets at best and nailbiting losses at worst.
With coaching from Johnta and the recent pickup of stand-ins Attacker and summer, TYLOO is definitely one of the CS:GO major teams to look out for at Katowice.
5. Renegades
The Australian team stormed through the Asia Minor to make it to IEM Katowice 2019. While they’re usually one of the teams to go out early, the addition of upcoming players liazz and Gratisfaction may see Renegades go further than ever before.
