Smash Bros Ultimate Patch 2.0 made character changes, and as such many players change their tier lists from month to month. VoiD has now made a Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tier List reflecting his view on characters since Patch 2.0.
As the runner-up at Genesis 6 and winner of the recent SoCal Chronicles, it’s fair to say his opinion holds some weight. Here’s VoiD’s Smash Ultimate Tier List for March 2019.

Super Top Tier – Daisy/Peach, Pichu, Wolf, Olimar, Inkling, Lucina
Top Tier – Wario, Shulk, Greninja, Young Link, Chrom, Pikachu, Ike, Palutena, Fox, R.O.B., Snake, Link, Zero Suit Samus, Ivysaur, Pokemon Trainer
High Tier – Pac-Man, Marth, Mega Man, Meta Knight, Falco, Mario, Cloud, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Squirtle, Pit, Ness, Ganondorf, Richter/Simon, Incineroar, Piranha Plant
Mid Tier – Roy, Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Lucario, Ridley, Samus/Dark Samus, Sheik, Bayonetta, King Dedede, Bowser, Corrin, Captain Falcon

With VoiD being a Pichu/Wolf player, it’s no surprise to see he ranks them very highly. Other characters at the very top tier include Daisy/Peach, Olimar, Inkling, and Lucina.
There are some interesting placings. Unlike some other pros, he considers Shulk and Greninja to be amongst the high tier characters. He also sees a lot of potential in characters like Pac-Man and R.O.B.
Other Smash Bros Ultimate Tier Lists
Many other pro players have made Smash Bros Ultimate Tier Lists and a lot of the current views on characters are the same. Most players consider Daisy/Peach, Olimar, Inkling, Pichu, and Wolf as some of the absolute best characters in the game.
A Reddit Smash Bros Ultimate Tier List also had many similar views. Players generally agree on the top characters. Meanwhile, characters like Bowser Jr., Little Mac, and Kirby are seen as some of the worst in the game.
With the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Spring Update set to come at the end of the month, we’ll see how things shake up.
