Prominent Nintendo Switch leaker King Zell hints at a huge Nintendo Switch announcement to come soon. What’s more, he hints that it’ll be as big as getting “Mario on a PlayStation console”. Given the timing and the context, this could mean Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Switch. So what are the chances? Here’s more on the latest Nintendo Switch rumors.
Nintendo Switch Rumors – Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Switch?
Recent rumors have surfaced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Nintendo Switch could possibly come true. This comes in the wake of the announcement of The Master Chief Collection on Steam and PC. Soon, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo: Reach will make their way to both Steam and the Windows Store. But will it also come to Switch?
The rumors began when King Zell hinted at a huge Nintendo Switch announcement coming on the Resetera forums. King Zell is a leaker with a strong track record, previously leaking the correct date for the last Nintendo Direct amongst other Nintendo news.
His initial post suggests there’s at least one game coming to Switch that wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago.
He follows this up with “It wasnt possible, like seeing Mario in a PlayStation console.”
With the recent Halo announcement, this set off many rumors of Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Switch. Notably, some of King Zell’s previous posts also make hints about Halo.
Of course, this doesn’t confirm that we’ll get Halo for Switch. It could also be a PlayStation exclusive such as Uncharted or another Microsoft property such as Banjo-Kazooie. However, it does seem some huge third-party titles will come to the Switch soon. We could potentially get more news at the upcoming GDC 2019 conference.
Master Chief in Super Smash Bros Ultimate?
While there’s no guarantee that we’ll get Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Switch, it would ignite a very exciting possibility if it did.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate still has 4 new DLC characters to be announced. It’s rumored that one will be a Microsoft character. And while Smash Bros Ultimate leaks mention names like Minecraft Steve and Banjo-Kazooie, Master Chief in Smash Bros would be massive for fans.
If Halo does come to the Switch, Master Chief in Super Smash Bros is a real possibility. If not in this DLC Pack, he could make one in the future.
