Fortnite heavy shotgun is on its way and it looks very good!
Shotguns are easily one of the best weapons in Fortnite at the moment. Thankfully, there have been nerfs to the double-pumping plague. However, they are still extremely strong.
In the current meta, shotguns are fantastic and do more damage than a rocket or grenade launcher! But what if we told you that there was going to be a shotgun that had more range, fires faster and does more damage than a purple tac?
Yep, Epic is introducing the Heavy Shotgun which looks like it will genuinely shred through opponents.
Brief gameplay with the weapon has already revealed its damage stats, and they look pretty crazy:
Fire Rate: 1.6
Magazine Size: 7
Reload Time: 5.9s
However, the main feature of this weapon is going to be its incredible range. In the video below, you can see just how far the user is hitting his opponent for meaty shots.
As you can imagine, there has been quite varied reactions to the new weapon. While some are excited about the new weapon, others are pretty annoyed that another powerful shotgun is in the game.
Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter to the Fortnite heavy shotgun:
In my opinion it should’ve been a double barrelled shotgun as a pump is already heavy enough with long reload time.
