Are you wondering where to find the apples in your favourite Battle Royale, Fortnite? Well, worry no more because we’ve got you covered.
One of the latest additions to Fortnite, other than the Famas, are apples scattered throughout the terrain. Many people, including some of my uninformed friends, thought I was joking when trying to explain what they were. We touched on them briefly in our v4.2 news story, but since then we’ve uncovered so much more.
Thankfully, due to me being an idiot and continually taking loads of fall damage, I managed to figure out where you should be able to find some tasty apples. These consumables – which don’t take an inventory slot – replenish 20% of your health per apple; and though they are a fantastic addition to the game, in my opinion, they can be hard to find at first.

Where are they?
In my experience, don’t go looking for them under large trees because you won’t find any. You need to be looking out for the light green trees; the only place that they will spawn. Now, these trees are random, but it is always worth knowing where they could generate.

Where is best to go for them?
Sort of the same question, but this will be a little more detailed. Contrary to what you may first think, going to the likes of Moisty Mire or Wailing Woods will just leave you with a bitter, disappointing taste in your mouth, as there aren’t any there.
Your best bet is to look near the likes of Risky Reels, outside of Retail Row, close to Shifty Shafts, or at the little woodland south of Tomato Town. If you’re still wondering where to find Fortnite apples, just look under every light green tree and you should eventually find yourself a healthy snack.
Are they worth the calories?
There are times where you don’t find yourself at 100% health, and you don’t have (or don’t want to use) a campfire or full-heal available. If this is the case, then apples offer you a little more choice, but you have to go looking for them. That being said, I wouldn’t bother going out of your way to find them; they aren’t guaranteed to always be under every light green tree.
