The big CS:GO Update for Thursday 6th December is finally live and free to play! You can now play CS:GO Danger Zone. Danger Zone is a 16-player CS:GO Battle Royale mode where you fight to be the last man standing. There are also some brand new CS:GO Skins in the Danger Zone Case, along with a special souvenir for Prime Users.
CS:GO Danger Zone – CS:GO Battle Royale Mode
The CS:GO Battle Royale mode has been in the works for a long time. While it was initially rumored to be called Survival, it’s now live in the game as Danger Zone.
Danger Zone is a 16-18 player Battle Royale mode with each match lasting about 10 minutes. This is designed to give players fast-paced battle royale action. You can queue Solo, in a Duo or as a Squad. Squad games will have more players.
You’ll use all the same guns as normal CS:GO modes, but players will have up to 120HP, making it a little harder to take them out.
Danger Zone does, however, feature some new items. The Medi-Shot can recover your health and give you a temporary speed boost. You can also plant C4 and throw melee weapons. There are also Delivery Drones which will drop items.
You can also gain cash in Danger Zone by rescuing hostages, taking out targets, and in safes around the map.

New CS:GO Skins – Danger Zone Case
The new update also introduces the CS:GO Danger Zone Case.
New CS:GO skins include the AK-47 Asiimov, M4A4 Magnesium, Desert Eagle Mecha Industries, and many more.
Prime Users will also get a free souvenir- the MP5-SD Lab Rats! All you need to do is play Danger Zone and accumulate 250xp to get it.

CS:GO Free to Play!
The new update also makes Counter-Strike: Global Offensive free to play! You can download it completely free from the Steam Workshop.
The catch is there’s now a Prime Status Upgrade which costs users £11.99. Prime Users will get souvenir items, item drops, and weapon cases. Players who updated to Prime in the past will still have Prime Status.
