The Cloud9 roster changes continue as Flusha leaves the roster and former IGL Golden returns. The move comes shortly after C9 were eliminated from the Legends Stage of the IEM Katowice 2019 Major. Flusha chose to step down due to personal and professional reasons. Cloud9 paid homage to Flusha with a thank you video.

Cloud9 Roster Changes – Flusha Leaves

Flusha has officially left the C9 CS:GO roster of his own accord. He explained his reasoning in a Twitlonger post.

I have been feeling uninspired and exhausted playing competitive CSGO for a while now and i have decided to take an extended break from this for a while, until i feel ready to come back again.

The decision makes sense. C9 recently lost in the Legends Stage of IEM Katowice 2019- one of the two major events of the year. He also recently lost his mother, and while he still put on an incredible performance in spite of his personal issues, it seems like the right time for a break.

Flusha joined Cloud9 back in September after leaving the fnatic CS:GO team. The team has undergone various roster changes throughout the past year, losing and regaining many players.

He now plans to take a step back. However, he will still be active in the CS:GO community and may stream in the near future.

Golden Returns to Cloud9

With flusha out of Cloud9, Golden will return to the active roster. Golden was C9’s in-game leader but chose to take a break due to health issues.

The Cloud9 CS:GO roster will now consist of autimatic, RUSH, Golden, kioshima, and Zellsis.

C9 made a Twitter post to announce the recent roster change.

The team has undergone a long period of instability with constant changes to the roster. With their IGL now back in place, C9 will look to find more stability and consistent performances.
